San Francisco Ballet School pianists accompany ballet classes and rehearsal for school performance and special projects.

Department: Ballet School
Position: School Pianist
Reports to: Music Director/School Associate Director
Classification: Regular Full Time, exempt with Benefits
Schedule: Mon-Sat, classes as assigned (43 work weeks plus vacation)

Essential position responsibilities:

Accompanies ballet technique, pointe, batterie, pas de deux and character classes, as well as rehearsals.
Prepares music as requested.
Selects repertoire for class.
Attends staff meetings.
Performs other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
