Turkish choreographer Korhan Basaran comes to Peridance in February to teach and audition dancers for an upcoming performance!
Korhan is seeking 13 dancers, male and female, for his premiere work, “Anatolia” in New York City in 2010. “Anatolia” aims to reveal the rich, fertile, and elaborate cultural history of Turkey's land and people. Come with your headshot and resume in hand!

www.peridance.comSince arriving in New York, Korhan was named as one of the semi-finalists of the 23rd Hanover Choreography Competition, choreographed the dances for Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyasi, the first ever Turkish Musical production in New York, and premiered his latest piece, Seeking Beauty, at the Merce Cunningham Studios in November 2009.
