DESCRIPTION: Sign up with/without a partner. Singles, Couples & Teens Welcome. The 4 Hour Salsa Workshop by Cindy Osorio. If you are a busy individual who simply cannot commit to the usual 4-8 Week Sessions offered at most studios, this is a great way to fit learning salsa into your schedule. This workshop is designed for those who have never danced before, danced very little, or those who dance Salsa ON 1 and want to make a transition to Salsa ON2. This workshop starts from the basics and moves through the essential steps to help you survive out there to feel confident enough to dance socially at parties and clubs. We will begin by breaking down the basic steps and individual turns for both leaders and followers. Men/Leaders will learn how to develop strong leading techniques and Ladies/Followers will learn how to develop strong following techniques with smoothness, elegant styling (Accents), and basic body movement skills. Once the workshop has been completed, the student will have mastered the turns patterns and steps taught and make the experience of learning salsa routines fun and be able to take those moves to the parties and clubs.
